2% Fire Dues Self-Certification Opens Jan. 1, 2021
Dear Wisconsin Fire Chiefs and Municipality Clerks:
It's almost 2% Self-Certification time again. Last year, was a bit of a roller coaster...from implementing eSLA to having the start of a world wide pandemic on our hands, to say was bumpy, is an understatement. This year will be better!
The eSLA system is set up to be available to the public on January 1, 2021 and run thru March 31, 2021. This being said if you experience problems with the system we (DSPS) will not be in the office to help until January 4th, because of the holiday season. If you do need assistance please send an email to [email protected] with your problem. Please include the Name of your FD or Municipality, County and what type of problems you are having.
We would like everyone to login to their eSLA account to make sure that you have access, you will not be able to see the self-certification because it will not be open. If you know that you have a new chief or a new clerk in your area, please forward this email to them and have them contact us at [email protected] so that they are set up and ready to go on Jan 1.
Access to eSLA
Customers will access eSLA via https://esla.wi.gov There is no download required, although using Chrome as a web browser is a must. You may try to use other browsers but we will not guarantee that your results will be effective and that will more than likely result in you having to redo the self certification process.
Clerks only: eSLA is also the system you will be using when entering your Injury Illness Reporting (IIRs). Login using the same Username and Password and you will find your previous IIRs on the Permits tab. Instructions for this are listed below.
